Well ! what can be said about our egg and spoon race last Saturday. Firstly the weather we really couldn't have asked for a nicer sunnier day. It really did make a nice change to hold a fun event outside. So with gazebo in place the egg decorating started.
I loved it, what a messy table, eggs, paint, tissue glitter, glitter glue, felt tip pens and if that wasn't enough we had children lots of them decorating their eggs to a very high standard. With the clock moving ever closer to race time the race was on to finish eggs and spoons were allocated. Phil and John our marshalls for the day were in place the time came for ready,steady GO!!!
They were off young and old alike it started rather slowly until they were on their way back and then it was a free for all eggs bouncing, parents shouting encouraging their youngster. Lots of cheering and clapping as the tape was broken. I can only apologise that I didn't get any names, but look at the photo's can you see yourselves? I would like to thank all who came along it was you that made it what it was a good fun day,
